The Call (01.24.2021)
Jesus’ first followers were not educated or professionally trained ministers. They were fishermen living an ordinary life. Jesus’ call for them to follow Him appealed to what they knew - fishing. However, as they found out, He meant something far greater -  fishing for men. This message will explore Jesus’ call that tore them away from an ordinary life to an extraordinary life. “While walking by the Sea of Galilee, he saw two brothers, Simon (who is called Peter) and Andrew his brother, casting a net into the sea, for they were fishermen. And he said to them, ‘Follow me, and I will make you fishers of men.’” - Matthew 4:18-19 ESV
