Pastor

Fred Douglas

Fred was raised on a farm in northeast Nebraska where He gave his life to Christ in the summer of 1964.  He attended the University of Nebraska graduating in 1974 with a Bachelor’s in Animal Science. Following graduation he served in the military and gained an appreciation for ministry leading Bible studies, counseling married couples, and sharing Christ.  Following his army hitch he moved to Indiana where he became involved in the Great Commission churches and decided to give his life to the world-wide propagation of the gospel. Fred was recognized as a pastor at Grace Campus Church in October of 1992. He has been married to Penny for 46 years and they have four children.  Together they have been working on disciple-making with college students, staff, and faculty with an emphasis on internationals since moving here to Purdue in 1982.

Tom has been pastor of Grace Church since 2013. He grew up as the son of a pastor and accepted Christ as his savior when he was 6 years old. God gripped Tom’s heart with the Great Commission during High School, and he has been seeking to help God be known ever since. He moved from Chicagoland to help start the church in 2009 and since then has been working with Purdue students. Tom has a degree in Earth and Environmental Science from the University of Illinois at Chicago and has been married to Jenny since 2014. His heart is to disciple young men and build mature followers of Jesus Christ.

Staff Member

Andrew Bovenmyer

Andrew has been with our church since 2020 and has been involved in our sister churches most of his life. He is originally from Washington D.C. and went to school at Iowa State University. Before coming on staff, Andrew worked as an EMT in the Lafayette area. Andrew's mother shared Jesus with him at the age of 6 and he accepted Christ into his life at the age of 13 under an oak tree. Andrew believes that Jesus is the Savior of the world, and the giver of life. He believes that our generation is desperately looking for God in many places, and Jesus is the way to find life. His hope is that all people have an opportunity to meet Jesus and respond to Him.
