The blessing of understanding from God helps us understand that He has greater purposes for the world than we can see. From the beginning of time, He had a mysterious plan to save mankind, and He let us see this plan fulfilled in Christ. When we understand that God fulfills his purposes and reveals it to His saints, we can walk in confidence and trust our God’s plans for our lives.  

“making known to us the mystery of his will, according to his purpose, which he set forth in Christ as a plan for the fullness of time, to unite all things in him, things in heaven and things on earth.” - Ephesians 1:9-10 ESV
